IR Debuts IRFB4310 and IRFB3207 HEXFET MOSFETs

International Rectifier Corp. (IR, El Segundo, CA) announced a new range of 75 V and 100 V HEXFET™ MOSFETs for ac-dc synchronous rectification and ORing circuits. The new MOSFETs feature benchmark low on-resistance [IRFB4310 (100 V) RDS(on) = 7 mΩ and the IRFB3207 (75 V) RDS(on) = 4.5 mΩ] to improve efficiency and power density in laptop/LCD adaptor and server ac-dc switch-mode power supply applications.

The new devices are suitable for the secondary side of many different ac-dc topologies, including flyback, half-bridge, full-bridge and forward converters. The new 75 V and 100 V devices are available in TO-220, D2Pak and TO-262 qualified to Q101 grade and moisture sensitivity level 1. Lead-free packages are also available, and are the same price as standard parts.

The new ac-dc SR HEXFET MOSFETs are available immediately. Pricing begins at $0.95 each for the IRFB4610 in 10,000-unit quantities.
