Intersil Releases New MightyMUX Switches

Intersil Corp. (Palm Bay, FL) announced new additions to its MightyMUX™ high-performance analog switch line. The new single-supply ISL43110 and ISL43111 ICs, and dual-supply ISL43112 and ISL43113 ICs are low-voltage SPST switches offered in the SOIC space-saving SOT-23 packages. The switches are designed for low-voltage portable appliance, communications systems and test equipment applications.

The ISL43110 and ISL43111 ICs are claimed to be the only SPST analog switches with guaranteed 3V R(ON) flatness for under $0.50 in 1,000-unit quantities. Flat switch resistance of 1.5 Ohms across temperature and input voltage guarantees consistent measurement and minimizes the need for additional calibration and compensation circuitry. The ISL43112 and ISL43113 ICs offer ±3V total R(ON) and R(ON) flatness across temperature, input-voltage and ±10 percent power supply variation. Full characterization at ±3V operation ensures the device will meet the system design requirements.

The ISL43110, ISL43111, ISL43112 and ISL43113 are available now. Pricing in 100-unit to 499-unit quantities is from $0.51 to $0.61 in the five-lead SOT-23 package.
