Gresham Power Unveils eFO800 Series Power Supplies
Gresham Power (Salisbury, UK) announced its new eFO800 Series of ultra-high power density switch-mode power supplies, which deliver from 600 W to 800 W continuous power output depending on configuration. Typical applications for the eFO800 Series include industrial systems, process control telecom, etc.
The eFO800 offers dimensions of 229 mm x 102 mm x 80 mm, and it will fit in a 2U rack shelf. Two input options are available, universal ac (85 Vac to 264 Vac) with active power-factor correction and 48 Vdc. The main output features remote sense and all units include OR-ing diodes allowing single wire current sharing for increasing output power or n+1 redundant operation. The power supply has control signals for power-good and inhibit for systems integration. Full international safety agency approvals, UL, cUL and CE have been attained.
Over 60 models are available from a single output of 5 Vdc at 100 A to eight outputs over the range of 2.5 Vdc to 48 Vdc. The eFO800 is a continuation of the "flexibility" series and may be configured to non-standard, customer specific output voltages with ease. The power supplies are internally fan cooled and will operate at full power over the temperature range of -5 °C to +50 °C.
