Faratronic Presents CBB72 Series of Capacitors

Xiamen Faratronic Co. Ltd. (China) announced the CBB72 Series of polypropylene film capacitors, offered in capacitance values from 5nF to 432nF with ±1 percent, ±1.25 percent or ±2 percent tolerance, and which feature an insulation resistance >200 gigaohms (C<120nF), making them suitable for timing, LC filter and oscillator circuits, as well as high-frequency applications.

The series also features a temperature coefficient of 200 (±100ppm per degree C) and a dissipation factor of <0.002 for 33nF and below, <0.005 for capacitance values between 33nF and 100nF, and <0.01 for values greater than 100nF. The capacitors comply with the IEC60384-1 and IEC60384-16 standards and are rated at 63V.

The CBB72 capacitors are offered in sizes measuring 7.5mm x 7.5mm x 13mm for values between 5nF to 120nF, 10mm x 10mm x 13mm for values ranging from 120nF to 237nF, and 12.5mm x 12.5mm x 13.mm for values of 210nF to 432nF.
