(ERG, Endicott, NY) unveiled its new W6m dc-ac inverters, which provide an economical, high-efficiency power source with closed-loop current control, open lamp detection, wide input-voltage ranging from 8 Vdc to 18 Vdc, and a profile of 6 mm for LCDs backlit by a single CCFL.
Suitable for battery-powered and portable applications where regulated output and low EMI and RFI are important, the inverters provide a good solution for virtually any single-lamp LCD that has a battery input voltage, including a range of possible applications in the automotive, medical and military markets.
The W6m inverters are priced at less than $9 each, and lead time is four weeks ARO.
