Endicott Research Introduces DMA/DMC Inverter Series

Endicott Research Group (Endicott, NY) introduced its DMC Series dc/ac inverters, which provide power for CCFLs that backlight larger LCDs. The inverters deliver 22W to power four CCFLs for LCDs that are 15in to 19in on the diagonal. They feature external control and PWM dimming.

The DMC Series has four separate outputs, two vacuum-encapsulated transformers for maximum reliability, and integrated I/O connectors that provide the capability of handling a wide array of connector arrangements. The inverters measure 6.51in x 1.08in and stand 0.53in high.

The company also has a DMA Series of inverters to power LCDs backlit by two CCFLs for use in lower-temperature environments and which require high starting voltages. Measuring 4.28in x 0.88in by 0.5in, they provide up to 12W.

Pricing for the DMC Series is $24.56 each in quantities of 1,000. The DMA Series is priced at $16.30 each in the same quantities. Typical lead time for both is four weeks.
