Emerson Network Power Intros Astec DPS50 Series Supplies

Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson (St. Louis, MO), announced the new DPS50 Series of external switching power supplies from Astec Power (Carlsbad, CA). The new models deliver 30 W of total power at 5 Vdc or 60 W at 12 V, 15 V, 24 V or 48 Vdc. Accepting universal input of 127 Vdc to 300 Vdc (wide range) or 90 Vac to 264 Vac via a standard IEC320 inlet receptacle, the power supplies are suitable for external applications requiring flexible implementation worldwide.

Suited for powering a wide variety of devices, including telecommunications, networking, test, measurement and imaging, the DPS50 Series is also available with medical-grade safety certifications designated by a –M on the model number. The DPS models demonstrate a mean time between failures greater than 550,000 hours at full load in 25 °C ambient conditions, and are designed to meet EN61000-X susceptibility requirements.
