Elantec Introduces EL7457CL Quad-MOSFET Driver

Elantec Semiconductor Inc. (Milpitas, CA) introduced the new EL7457CL quad-MOSFET driver in the low-profile LPP package. The high-output power, high-voltage operation and level shifting features make the EL7457CL suitable for pin driving in test equipment, as well as for clock driving in many general-purpose applications.

The EL7457CL features a low voltage, a 3V to 5V input stage, and an output stage capable of operating up to 18V. The output signal can also go negative with regard to the input by up to 5V. Operating at clock rates up to 40MHz, the EL7457CL is capable of driving a peak of 2A per output while switching between the two reference input voltages. The device can also be programmed to a high-impedance output state.
