East Penn Intros Deka Power Sports Batteries

East Penn Manufacturing Co. (Lyon Station, PA) introduced a line of Deka Power Sports absorbed glass mat (AGM) batteries for ATVs, snowmobiles, watercrafts and motorcycles. The AGM technology delivers improved performance, durability and life, and is non-spillable and leakproof. The batteries come factory-sealed and are fully charged.

The new battery line features a patented terminal design with top and side molded-in threaded hardware. The terminal is molded into the cover for leak-free performance under severe conditions. The line also features full-frame, power path, calcium/calcium grid construction for maximum cranking performnace.

The Deka Power Sports line has capacities ranging from 8Ah to 20Ah, and consists of seven battery sizes and part numbers: the ETX20L, ETX18L, ETX16L, ETX16, ETX15L, ETX15, ETX14, ETX12 and ETX9.
