Delta Electronics Inc. (Chungli, Taiwan), a leader in power systems technology and manufacturing, introduced its IPM04 and IPM12 non-isolated, fully integrated, point-of-load (POL) power modules into its Delphi Series of board-mounted dc-dc power converters. The Delphi Series IPM04 and IPM12 family provides up to 10 A or 33 W of output current/power in an industry-standard, compact, IC-like, molded package.
The IPM04 and IPM12 units are an integrated POL that needs no external components to provide its POL function. The devices operate from either a 3 V to 5.5 V (IPM04S) or an 8 V to 14 V (IPM12S) source, and provide a range of output voltages from 0.8 V to 5 V. The IPM04 and IPM12 units offer 94% efficiency at full load.
In OEM quantities of 1,000 pieces, pricing is $7.50 for the IPM04 and $6.25 for the IPM12. The units are available in either a SMD or SIP package. Standard lead time is from stock to eight weeks, depending on the volume.
