Delta Electronics Inc. (Chungli, Taiwan), a leader in power systems technology and manufacturing, introduced the latest addition to its Delphi Series of board-mounted, dc-dc power converters, the E48SR 48V input, single output, isolated eighth-brick, dc-dc converter, which delivers up to 25A of output current or 66W in an industry-standard footprint and pinout.

The E48SR converter operates from an input voltage of 36V to 75V and is available in output voltages of 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, 5V, 12V and 15V. Efficiency for this module at 1.8V/25A output is 90.5%. The E48SR is capable of providing full output power without airflow up to 50°C. With 100LFM of airflow, the unit will provide full power up to 65°C. The E48SR converter comes complete with a host of industry-standard features such as remote sense; remote on/off; output trim; and under-voltage lockout, over-current, over-voltage and over-temperature protection. The units also carry a full set of international safety approvals, including EN60950, UL/cUL60950 and CE mark meets 73/23/EEC and 93/68/EEC directives.

Sample quantities of Delta’s Delphi E48SR converters are available for immediate delivery. In OEM quantities of 1,000 pieces, the unit price is $37. Standard lead-time for this product is from stock to eight weeks, depending on the output and volume.
