CUI Inc. is now offering a line of Peltier Devices for thermal management. The series is very compact, making it suitable for applications where size and weight are limited. The devices are available in sizes 15 x 15, 20 x 20, 30 x 30mm with heights ranging from 3.3 to 5.1mm and input of 2.0 to 8.5A. A 40 x 40mm version is also available with heights from 3.8 to 4mm tall and input of 6.0 to 8.5A. All of CUI’s Peltier Devices come complete with leads.
The CPXXXXX series is described as highly reliable and has no moving parts, thus the company claims that it virtually eliminates maintenance. Solder melting point is 138°C and maximum compress is 98.07 N/cm² (10 kgf/cm²).
Lead time is 6-8 weeks. Models start at $10.16 per unit for 100 pieces.
