Cooper Unveils CCFL Transformers

Cooper Electronic Technologies (Boynton Beach, FL) announced its Coiltronics brand of cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL) inverter transformers for backlighting and other automotive and electronic applications.

Available as surface-mount or through-hole components, the CCFL automotive inductors are designed to operate in ambient temperature ranges from -40 to +85 degrees C. Typical applications include dashboard backlighting, GPS systems and on-board dimming circuits in 12V systems. CCFL technology is also available for 42V systems that are under design.
