Compaq Unveils T1000/T1500/T2200XR UPSs

Compaq Computer Corp. (Houston, TX) anounced its new Tower UPS XR models, next-generation tower UPSs. The new models, UPS T1000 XR, T1500 XR and T2200 XR, support optional extended runtime modules while providing advanced power protection for servers, storage, computer equipment and network environments.

Key benefits include increased power rating, enhanced front panel display, enhanced battery management and hot-swappable batteries. Key benefits include ease of configuration display, intelligent manageability, greater system uptime, long-term battery life and reliability, hot-swappable batteries, and enhanced system flexibility.

All new models have increased true power rating (measured in Watts); the UPS T1000 XR is rated up to 1,000VA and 700W, the UPS T1500 XR is rated up to 1,500VA and 1,050W, and the UPS T2200 XR is rated up to 2,200VA and 1,600W.
