June 01, 2003 by Jeff Shepard

Central Semiconductor Corp. (Hauppauge, NY) announced the release of the CMEDA-6i quad diode array, which consists of a monolithic chip with four, 60V, 250mA, isolated, high-speed, switching diodes in an eight-lead, SOT-28, surface-mount package. With a superior DVF matching of 30mV (maximum), a low capacitance of 3pF and a fast switching speed of 100ns (maximum), the CMEDA-6i is suitable for the latest computer and peripheral equipment circuits requiring uniform response characteristics for critical design applications. In addition, the new SUPERmini™ device utilizes 67% less board space than four individual SOD-123 devices and boasts a low-profile height of 1.45mm maximum.

The CMEDA-6i is available Bulk Packed or 3,000 pcs on 7" Tape & Reel. Prices for the CMEDA-6i start at $0.44 each for 3,000 pcs on a 7" reel. Sample devices are available upon request.
