C&D Technologies Announces Its First Range of Common Mode Chokes

The Power Electronics Division of C&D Technologies has expanded its magnetics product range with the introduction of the 5000 series surface-mount common mode chokes. The new range is intended to provide line filtering for designers of power converters looking to reduce unwanted common mode noise in EMC sensitive applications.

The 5000 Series includes the following features: 0.47 to 4.7mH inductance and up to 700mA current rating; attenuation up to 100MHz; and a compact 7.0mm x 5.9mm x 4.4mm size and industry standard pad layout. They are RoHS compliant, as well as with JEDEC J-020-C reflow.
