BI Technologies Intros HM64 Series Inductors

BI Technologies' (Fullerton, CA) magnetic components division introduced a low-profile (0.67in), surface-mountable, micropower inductor for portable platforms. Designated the HM64 Series, the closed-circuit inductors feature low EMI levels with current handling capabilities up to 1.67A. The HM64 Series inductors are suitable for use in PCMCIA cards, disk drives or for general-purpose applications.

The micropower inductors feature inductance ratings from 1µH to 47µH up to 1.67A (inductance measured at 100kHz, 0.1V), with operating frequencies up to 2MHz. The dc-resistance ratings range from 0.103 ohms to 0.850 ohms, with operating temperatures ranging from -25 to +125 degrees C.

Pricing for the HM64 Series inductors is $0.30 in quantities of 50,000, with lead times ranging from 8 to 10 weeks ARO.
