Astrodyne Announces 30W Interchangeable Plug Series Wall Mount Power Adapters

Astrodyne Corp. announced the ASA30 line of wall mount adapters that provide 30W of output power. The devices are designed to meet the space and performance needs in wireless communications, portable equipment, peripherals, networking, and personal electronics such as digital cameras, PDAs and MPEG Players. All models accept universal input from 90 to 264Vac and six models are available that provide single outputs from 5 to 24Vdc.

The universal input and interchangeable clip adapter plugs which are included with every unit provide international agency approval and enable the power supply to be connected to virtually any power outlet in the world. The ASA30 provides for optional US, UK, European or Australian plugs. The ASA30 Series will operate over the ambient temperature range of 0 to 40°C without forced cooling or output power derating. Dimensions are 2.27 x 4.24 x 1.32". All models contain overvoltage and short circuit protection circuitry and an internal input FCC B EMI filter. Medical Grade versions (ASA30M) are also available.
