Apex Presents MA01 High Voltage Amplifier Family

Apex Microtechnology Corp. (Tucson, AZ) announced its new Apex MA01, which is a dual-channel, precision monolithic, high-voltage IC solution in an industry-standard PSOP package. With a footprint measuring less than 0.5in-sq, the MA01 drastically reduces the board space requirements in applications where multiple independent loads must each be precisely controlled.

The MA01 features high-voltage operation up to 350V and output voltage up to 330V per channel with no second breakdown. It also addresses a key requirement for low quiescent current with less than 2mA per channel. Power bandwidth is 26Khz at full output voltage. Each channel can operate independently or both channels can be bridged for 660V p-p output with only a slight reduction in total output current as defined by SOA curves.
