APC Offers Pre-Configured InfraStruXure Versions

American Power Conversion Corp. (APC, West Kingston, RI) announced the availability of its InfraStruXure architecture in a variety of pre-configured offerings designed for small- to medium-sized businesses and branch locations of enterprise customers. The new systems are easy to install, can be ordered with one part number and do not require use of configuration tools.

The new InfraStruXure systems are available in packages of one to five rack enclosures and come equipped with uninterruptible power supplies ranging from 1.5kVA to 12kVA (1kW to 8.4kW). In addition, each system comes with rack power distribution units, cable management brackets, temperature monitoring, built-in management capabilities and optional service offerings.

The newly designed, bundled systems are available immediately in North America and will be available in July 2003 for most countries worldwide.
