Aimtec Adds New 20W DC-DC Converter with Ultra Wide Input Ranges
Aimtec announced the addition of the AM20UW-CZ to its 20W dc-dc product offering. The ultra wide, 4:1 input range of 10-40Vdc and 18-75 Vdc makes the AM20UW-CZ series of standard 2"x2" converters suitable for an assortment of applications, including data communication equipments, mobile battery driven equipments, distributed power systems, telecommunication equipments, mixed analog/digital subsystems, process/machine control equipments, computer peripheral systems and industrial robot systems.
Highly regulated and isolated (1500Vdc) single and dual output ranges of 3.3, 5, 12, and 15V, and ±5, ±12 and ±15Vdc are fully protected against short circuit, over voltage and over load. The functionality of the AM20UW-CZ series includes a remote ON/OFF feature, making these robust converters well-suited for applications where conservation of the device's power consumption is required and/or there is a need for the power supplies to switch ON and OFF in a specific sequence.
Additionally, the AM20UW-CZ is equipped with a V-out trim feature to compensate for long line lengths where the actual voltage at the converter output pins may vary ±10%. Each of the 14 models offered in the AM20UW-CZ series use high quality, 100% RoHS compliant materials that undergo rigorous quality control to ensure the reliability and performance of each model within an operating temperature range of -25 to +70°
