Analog Integration Corp. (AIC, Hsinchu, Taiwan) launched its new AIC1577 external NMOS, step-down, pulse-width modulation (PWM) controller, which provides a maximum duty cycle of up to 95%.
Interfacing with many applications, the AIC1577 offers a wide operating input-voltage range from 4.5 V to 24 V, and a wide output-voltage range from 0.8 V to 20 V. In addition, the switching frequency of up to 500 kHz reduces the size of the filter components. The low standby current and 95% high duty cycle result in reduced power consumption.
The AIC1577 is available in SOP8 and MSOP8 packages. Pricing and delivery quotes are available by contacting the company.
