ADI Presents New AD8627 JFET Amplifier

June 02, 2003 by Jeff Shepard

Analog Devices Inc. (ADI, Wilmington, MA) introduced the AD8627 JFET amplifier in a tiny SC70 package, which features single-supply operation, low power consumption, and lower input bias currents than its predecessor, the AD820. The AD8627 is suitable for portable equipment in medical, industrial, instrumentation and portable applications, as well as ATE reference level drivers, battery management, line-powered instrumentation, and remote sensor signal conditioning, including automotive sensors.

The AD8627 features a low offset voltage of 500µV, maximum; a low input bias current of 1pA, maximum; supply voltages from 5V to 26V; a 5MHz bandwidth and low offset; and an extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.

The AD8627 is available now in both five-lead SC70 and eight-lead SOIC surface-mount packages. The AD8627 is priced at $1.69 per unit in 1,000-piece quantities.
