15W and 30W Shielded DC-DC Converters

Two new series of shielded dc-dc converters have been released by Cosel packaged in the industrial standard 1"x1" (15W), 1"x2" (30W) as well as SIP packages. Main features are wide variety lineup include 2:1 input range (MG series) and 4:1 input range (MGF series), wide operation temperature range (-40 to +85 degrees C) and covered with 6-sided shield metal case. These industrial-grade dc-dc converters are designed for high reliability and do not include aluminum or tantalum electrolytic capacitors.

Specifications and features include: Wide input range 9- to 36-Vdc, and 18- to 76-Vdc, depending on the model; Synchronous rectification; 1,500Vdc I/O isolation; remote on/off, output voltage adjustable suing an external variable resistor; and a built-in input fuse.

Safety standards include CD marking (low-voltage directive), UL60950-1, C-UL, and EN60950-1. Protection functions include overcurrent protection and overvoltage protection. These dc-dc converters come with a 10-year warranty.
