10W to 30W Isolated DC-DCs in 1” x 1” Package

Mean Well has unveiled six series of dc-dc converters, the SKM10, DKM10, SKMW20, DKMW20, SKMW30, and DKMW30. These dc-dc converters offer a total power solution in 1" x 1" x 0.4" high-density configuration and are offered in single-output and dual-output versions from 10W to 30W.

These 6 series are designed to comply with standard pin assignment in the market, no matter in mechanism design or in package. Besides featuring 2:1 or 4:1 input voltage ranges and ultra-wide range of working temperature (-40 to +85 degrees C), they are all equipped with 1500Vdc I/O isolation and guaranteed with a three-year warranty. Suitable applications include IoT, electronics, telecom, networking, industrial control, and various distributed power architecture, and so on.

Additional specifications include: The 10W units are offered in several 2:1 input voltage ranges while the 20W and 30W units feature 4:1 input voltage ranges; Standard single-output voltages are 3.3-, 5-, 12-, and 15-Vdc for all power levels; Standard dual-output voltages are ±5-, ±12-, and ±15-Vdc for the 10W units and ±12- and ±15-Vdc for the 20W and 30W units;

30W units deliver full power to 55 degrees C and derate linearly to 40% at 85 degrees C, the 20W units deliver full power to 65 degrees C and derate linearly to 50% power at 85 degrees C, and the 10W units deliver full power to 71 degrees C and derate linearly to 60% power at 85 degrees C.

All units have continuous short circuit protection, overload protection under-voltage lockout, and input under voltage protection. The 30W units also include over-temperature protection. These dc-dc converters are CE certified.
