1- to 6-Watt SIP DC-DCs with 1500Vdc I/O Isolation
Mean Well has introduced 8 new series of dc-dc converters including the unregulated 1W SPU01/DPU01 series and regulated 2W/3W/6W SPAN02/DPAN02/SPBW03/DPBW03/SPBW06/DPBW06 series, to fill out the company’s dc-dc converter SIP package converter product line. These 8 series are designed to comply with the SIP (Single in Line) standard pin assignment and are offered in single-and dual-output models.
Besides featuring up to 4:1 input voltage ranges and wide working temperature range (-40 to +90 degrees C for the 1W and 2W models and -40 to +85 degrees C for the 3W and 6W models), they are all equipped with 1500Vdc I/O isolation, built-in emi filtering, short-circuit protection, and have a three year warranty. Suitable applications include IoT, electronics, telecom, networking, industrial control, and various distributed power architectures.
The 1W converters are unregulated and are offered with input voltages of 4.5- to 5.45-Vdc, 10.8- to 13.2-Vdc, and 21.6- to 26.4-Vdc. Single outputs of 5-, 12,- and 15-Vdc as well as dual outputs of ±5-, ±12- and ±15-Vdc are offered. The 5-Vdc and 12-Vdc input units measure 19.5 x 6.1 x 10.2 mm while the 24-Vdc input units measure 19.5 x 7.2 x 10.2 mm.
The 2W converters are regulated and have 2:1 input voltage ranges of 4.5-9, 9-19, 18-36, and 36-75 Vdc. Single outputs of 3.3-, 5-, 12, and 15-Vdc as well as dual outputs of ±5-, ±12- and ±15-Vdc are offered. These converters measure 21.8 x 9.2 x 11.1 mm.
The 3W and 4W converters are regulated and have 4:1 input voltage ranges of 9-36 and 18-75 Vdc. Single outputs of 3.3-, 5-, 12, and 15-Vdc as well as dual outputs of ±5-, ±12- and ±15-Vdc are offered. These converters measure 21.8 x 9.2 x 11.1 mm.
