ZAP (Sebastopol, CA) announced that the Walt Disney movie The Princess Diaries features a ZAPPY electric scooter. The opening scenes of the film, in which the scooter is featured, were shot in San Francisco, where visitors can rent ZAPPY scooters.
The company also announced a ZAP contest, in which viewers of the movie can log onto the ZAP website and answer a movie trivia question for a chance to win a ZAPPY scooter. ZAP will be giving away one ZAPPY scooter per month through October 3, 2001.
