December 16, 2015 by Jeff Shepard

Semtech Corporation will showcase LoRa® Wireless IoT solutions, as well as demonstrate its power management portfolio, including its tri-mode wireless charging solution, Neo-Iso™ intelligent power switch platform and other power management ICs, at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), January 6-9, 2016 in Las Vegas, Venetian Suites 31-322 and 31-324.

"At last year's CES, we demonstrated our leadership in IoT with our LoRa wireless technology platform and the establishment of the LoRa Alliance, an organization whose membership has grown to more than 170 companies and has contributed to the global adoption of the low-power networking standards required for IoT networks," said Alberto Guerra, Chief Marketing Officer at Semtech. “Since then, we have announced several LoRa network deployments with major mobile network operators around the world. At this year's CES, we will be highlighting some of the latest IoT developments from our LoRa Alliance partners in our suite. We're also excited to showcase our breakthrough power management platforms that enable wireless charging, home automation, intelligent power switching and other next generation applications.”

Semtech’s meeting rooms will feature the following: IoT innovations with LoRa and LoRaWAN™ where visitors can learn about LoRa, low power, wide area networks (LPWAN), and the latest developments in the IoT and Wireless markets. Tri-mode wireless charging demo in all three major standards (Qi, PMA and A4WP Rezence) for low-power wearable devices, and commercial and automotive applications. Neo-Iso galvanic isolated switches demo for low-voltage IoT applications such as smart thermostats, security, intelligent sensor control and other home automation systems. And power management, LED drivers, load switches and other IC platforms for use in automobiles and high reliability interfaces.

Semtech’s Power and High-Reliability Product Group will be open for drop in visitors Tuesday (Jan. 5), Wednesday (Jan. 6) and Thursday (Jan. 7) from 3:15-5:15 p.m. in Venetian Suite 31-322. Semtech and its partners in the LoRa Alliance will host a reception at TAO on Wednesday, January 6 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
