Valence Signs NEC as N-Charge System Customer

Valence Technology Inc. (Austin, TX), a leader in the development and commercialization of Saphion™ technology and lithium-ion polymer rechargeable batteries, announced that it has signed NEC Solutions America Inc., a provider of business solutions and services for commercial and professional markets in North America, as a customer for the N-Charge™ Power System. The N-Charge system will be marketed with NEC's Versa LitePad Tablet PC.

Together, the N-Charge Power System and the Versa LitePad will offer users complete mobility. The N-Charge Power System is an easy-to-use, portable energy solution that provides power for a wide variety of mobile electronic devices, including tablet PCs. The Versa LitePad has an ultra-slim profile of 8.8in x 11.7in x 0.6in and weighs 2.2lbs.
