Tyco Electronics Establishes Power Center in Shanghai

Tyco Electronics Power Systems (Dallas, TX) announced that it will set up a power system research and development center in Shanghai, China, which is scheduled to commence operations in October 2002. With about 50 specialized engineers, the center will focus on the research and development of ac/dc adapters and dc/dc voltage converters.
