Today, most of our transportation needs are met by fossil fuels. We know that the way we use energy today is not sustainable in the long term. The Battery Show is a technology conference that brings together all types of stakeholders and decision-makers to explore and understand the latest developments and innovations in battery and electric vehicle technology. The Battery Show and Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo is a trade show for battery technology, next-generation battery systems, energy storage technologies, and electric and hybrid vehicle technologies.

An Overview

North America’s largest and most comprehensive battery show brings together over 550 industry experts which allow for cross-industry collaboration to address key challenges in the industry. These include how to make batteries lighter, more powerful, safer, long-lasting, recyclable, and reliable while reducing costs.

Registered attendees can benefit from fresh insights into new technologies with 25 exhibiting and providing demonstrations of their solutions at the New Product Showcase. The Open Tech Forum provides a platform for attendees to gain access to free technical presentations and discussions concerning the latest in battery and hybrid/electric vehicle (H/EV) design and innovation. Attendees can also gain access to industry-leading educational sessions, as well as exchange ideas with other like-minded engineers and designers at networking receptions.

Battery and H/EV experts will be delivering keynotes, roundtable meetings, in-depth workshops, and panels, along with rapid-fire lightning talks concerning a specific business, innovation, finding, or manufacturing topic. Conference tracks include titles such as “Battery Design, Application & Manufacturing”, “Transportation Electrification & Emerging Applications”, “Battery Markets, Supply Chain & Regulatory Policy Outlook”, and more. Some of the conference speakers will include Darren Palmer (General Manager Battery Electric Vehicles, Ford Motors), Rick Thompson (Distinguished Engineer, Technology Strategy, Dell Technologies), Christopher Michelbacher (EV Charging & Infrastructure Manager, Audi of America), and others.

“The Battery Show is the premier event for the Battery and EV industry, it brings together all the key players to help companies create innovative strategies in this growing market,” said Paul Gumber, OEM (original equipment manufacturer) Account Manager at Rockwell Automation in a comment on The Battery Show site.

Featured exhibitors at the event will include Aspen Aerogels, Battery Solutions, Boyd Corporation, GROB Systems, Inc., Honeywell International, among many more. Collaboration is a key factor in the future of the battery and electric vehicle technology industry. In order to achieve higher levels of innovation, industry leaders need to partner with other companies, government agencies, and organizations. This way, they can share knowledge and resources to make new green energy solutions. Informa’s latest battery show and expo can provide a platform for such innovation.
