TDI Batteries (Romeoville, IL), a division of Tyco Electronics Corp., announced that it passed an extensive ISO audit with zero non-conformances, and fulfilled the requirements for re-certification of its ISO 9001 registration.
"Although obtaining an ISO certificate is an important accomplishment, the process does not end there. Annual audits encourage continuous improvement and ongoing compliance," said Martin Gonzalez, operations manager for TDI, the Americas. "This surveillance also ensures that our quality-control techniques remain effective and support our investment in engineering resources and manufacturing processes."
