SunWize SW/OEM Solar Modules Get FM Approval

SunWize Technologies Inc. (Kingston, NY) announced that its SW and OEM line of single crystalline modules received FM approval for Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D, Hazardous (Classified) locations. The SunWize solar module line ranges from 5W to 120W and is rated at ±5 percent of the listed output. All SW and OEM Series modules come with a 20-year, 80-percent power output warranty. Accessories include SunWize mounting hardware, interconnects and the SWIL4 voltage regulator, all sold separately or in module kits.

SunWize modules include an impact-resistant glass front, Tedlar® back, EVA encapsulate, anodized-aluminum tubular frame with pre-drilled mounting holes, and blocking diodes contained within a weather-resistant junction box. The SWIL4 voltage regulator, for systems rated up to 55W, is fully encapsulated, making it intrinsically safe for Class 1, Division 2 environments.
