Splashpower Enters Licensing Agreement For Inductive Charging Technology With Alba plc

Splashpower® Ltd. announced that it has signed a licensing agreement with Alba plc, a major U.K. brand manufacturer, to distribute wireless power products to the consumer market. Under terms of the agreement, Alba will design and manufacture products based on Splashpower’s purchased through retail stores and online. The universal charger will support a range of mobile phones and MP3 players.

In a second phase of market development scheduled for Q4 2008, Alba and Splashpower will support the integration of wireless power receivers into a range of handheld consumer devices with technology and manufacturing expertise.

Commenting on the agreement, Bill Campbell, Splashpower’s CEO, remarked, "We are pleased to have this agreement in place with Alba.
