Voller Energy Group Plc has received its first purchase order from Speedy Hire Plc, the UK's leading provider of tool and equipment rental services. This initial order is for the supply 300 units of a cordless multi tool battery charger.
"We are very pleased to have secured this important contract with Speedy Hire. In view of the changes in health and safety legislation, we believe that we will be able to utilize our fuel cell technology to provide appropriate solutions for many of Speedy Hire's customers," stated Stephen Voller, CEO of Voller Energy.
The current product uses rechargeable battery technology and will appear in the new 2006 Speedy Hire catalogue. In addition, the ever-increasing demands driven by Health and Safety & Environmental legislation will provide Voller Energy with further opportunities to supply the construction industry with additional products, which comply with these new regulations.
Voller Energy and Speedy Hire are also co-operating to develop a range of fuel cell products which will power portable accommodation and remote working facilities, reducing the demand for fossil fuels and enabling operators to recharge their equipment without the need to leave the immediate vicinity of their work.
