To bring convenience to smartphone users who often complain about low battery backup, Oukitel has introduced a device that packs a large 10,000mAh Li-ion battery. The China-based mobile manufacturing company, due to its 10,000mAh battery, named the smartphone as K10000 and a single full charge would last approximately 10 days.

With a “flash charge” chipset incorporated into the charger, the 10,000mAh battery can be fully recharged in 3.5 hours. The K10000 can also be used to charge other portable devices. The “OTG” function can charge multiple devices at the same time. According to Oukitel, the K10000 will still have 10% charge left after fully recharging three iPhone6S Pluses.

The phone has a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 chipset clocked at 1 GHz featuring Android 5.1 (Lollipop) operating system and comes with 2GB of RAM plus 16GB of memory and can accommodate additional memory cards up to 32GB. The K10000 features dual SIM (GSM and GSM) support, 5.5-inch screen with a 720p display.

The phone has a 13-megapixel primary camera with dual-LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. The K10000 is also heavy likely due to the large battery, with a thickness of 1.3cm (0.51 inch), almost double the iPhone 6S Plus' 0.73cm (0.29 inch) measurement. While it is available for pre-order for $239.99, the K10000 is not expected to ship until the end of January.
