SL Power Names New General Manager for China Facility

SL Power Electronics Corp. announced that Mike Wang has joined the company as General Manager for its production facilities in Xianghe, China. With more than 13 years experience in manufacturing, Wang will manage plant-wide operations, including purchasing, manufacturing, quality control, logistical management customer service and support, as well as maintain safety certification programs and implement lean manufacturing standards.

"Mike's breadth of knowledge in the manufacturing industry, exceptional business experience and strong communications skills make him exceptionally qualified to successfully lead our facility in Xianghe."

Wang received a bachelor's degree in machine design and manufacturing from Shan Dong Ji Nan University. Before coming to SL Power Electronics, he worked for SPX Filtran China, a manufacturer of transmission filters and industrial filtration solutions, where he successfully implemented lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives, and handled the day-to-day operations of two plants.
