Sirenza Takes $1.8M Loss for First-Quarter 2005

Sirenza Microdevices Inc. (Sunnyvale, CA), a designer of radio frequency (RF) components for communications equipment, reported net revenues of $12.2 million for the first quarter of 2005, compared to $15.1 million for first-quarter 2004. Substantial order deferrals and shipment delays were at the root of the reduced revenues.

Sirenza showed a first-quarter net loss of $1.8 million, or $0.05 per basic share, compared with net income of $162,000, or no per basic and diluted share, value in first-quarter 2004.
