Sharp Electronics Establishes Solar Systems Division

Sharp Electronics Corp. (SEC, Huntington Beach, CA), the US sales and marketing subsidiary of Sharp Corp. (Osaka, Japan), has established a new division to make Sharp's solar cells, modules and systems available in North America.

Noboru Fujimoto, president of Sharp Electronics Marketing Company of America, stated, "Introducing Sharp's industry-leading solar technologies to the US and other regions is both timely and supports our positioning as a brand that inspires people to enhance their lifestyles through the surprising innovations of Sharp products."
