RFMD's Beijing Facility Receives ISO Certification

RF Micro Devices Inc. (RFMD, Greensboro, NC), a provider of proprietary radio frequency integrated circuits (RFICs) for wireless communications applications, announced that its facility in Beijing, China, has received ISO 14001:1996 certification for environmental management systems by the TUV Management Service certification body. Certification was granted upon independent verification of the Beijing facility's compliance with the standard.

Gary Grant, corporate vice president of quality at RF Micro Devices, stated, "We are proud to announce the ISO 14001:1996 certification of our Beijing facility. This certification demonstrates RFMD's continued commitment to the environment and the communities in which we operate. The ISO 14001 certification assures that our proprietary components and solutions are being produced under environmentally friendly conditions."
