Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide Inc. (Irvine, CA) announced that it has been awarded a contract to provide emissions compliance testing on General Motors Corp.’s 2000 model year regular production passenger cars and trucks. The work was previously performed in California at GM’s Los Angeles Emission Lab.
"This contract further expands the customer base for Quantum’s emissions lab," said President and CEO Alan Niedzwiecki. "We were chosen by GM because of our proven track record of providing accurate emissions data in a timely manner. We developed this capability by conducting these complex tests for our own fuel system development programs, and have provided this high level of service for almost 50 customers."
