Powervation Ltd. announced that Jeff Purchon has joined the company as Vice President of Global Sales. In this role, Purchon will oversee Powervation's global sales and marketing effort and the development of customer relationships. He will also focus on expanding the company's internal sales, global applications engineering teams and the development of its worldwide network of representatives and distributors.

Purchon has 20 years of high-technology sales and marketing experience in the USA, Europe and Asia. Most recently, he was responsible for the business development of Enpirion's product line in Asia. Prior to this he was Vice President of International Sales and Marketing for International Power Devices, which was subsequently acquired by Power-One.
