O2Micro International Ltd. (Santa Clara, CA), a supplier of power management and security ICs to mobile computer and communications manufacturers, was granted 23 claims under US patent # 6,459,602 for its Direct Current-to-Direct Current (DC/DC) Converter IC with improved transient response.
"This patent grant is key to O2Micro's family of power-efficient, low-cost dc/dc products for computing platforms," said Daryl Nees, marketing manager for O2Micro's Intelligent Power business unit.
