Nuvera Fuel Cells Inc. announced that it will break ground on a new 111,000-square-foot facility that is being built at the Rivertech Office Park.
The fuel cell development company recently announced it would move its headquarters to the Rivertech Office Park in Billerica at 129 Concord Road. The decision was the result of a two-year, multistate search. The building, designed by Margulies & Associates, will include a mix of office, manufacturing and laboratory space.
Nuvera Fuel Cells, which has offices in Italy and the United States, began searching for new space about two years ago. The growing company now leases 56,000 square feet at Cambridge's Discovery Park.
