Millennium Cell Inc. (Eatontown, NJ) announced that it has signed a non-binding letter of intent with Air Products and Chemicals Inc. (Allentown, PA). Millennium Cell and Air Products are discussing the possibility of entering into a joint research agreement aimed at developing the process for converting sodium borates to sodium borohydride.
“Air Products is a world leader in providing industrial gases and chemicals and has particular expertise with hydrogen," said Dr. Stephen Tang, Millennium Cell's president and CEO. “We are very pleased to enter into this relationship and are confident that we can work together to enable the global transition to a hydrogen fuel economy."
