Microsemi Corp. (Irvine, CA) has announced an official name change for its integrated circuit businesses located in Carlsbad, Garden Grove, Irvine and Los Angeles, CA. The new name, Microsemi Integrated Products, provides a uniform identity for circuit design centers.
"Our four operations have been working closely together in product and manufacturing development for many months now, so it makes very good sense to create a single identity that can umbrella our similar intellectual properties" said Kelly Jones, vice president and general manager at the Garden Grove office.
The company is also informing customers that its future integrated circuit products will be labeled by either "Microsemi" or "MSC," depending upon available space.
