Micrel Names Industry Veteran Brian Hedayati as VP of Marketing for Analog Division

Micrel Inc. announced that Brian Hedayati, a seasoned semiconductor executive, has been named Micrel’s Vice President of Analog Marketing. He will report directly to Mansour Izadinia, the company’s Senior Vice President of the Analog Division and will be responsible for strategic marketing, applications, product roadmaps and business management of Micrel’s entire Analog product line. The Analog business accounts for more than two-thirds of the company’s revenues worldwide.

Hedayati has more than 30 years of engineering, management, sales and marketing experience in the power conversion and semiconductor industry. Most recently, he held the position of Executive Director at Maxim Integrated Products, with responsibility for notebook, handheld and automotive battery management products. Prior to this, he was Executive Director at Maxim and responsible for the dc-dc, Hot Swap, Power over Ethernet (PoE) and HBLED driver product lines. He has also held senior executive positions at Supertex Inc. and Texas Instruments.
