Micrel Names Industry Executive David Schwartz Vice President, Worldwide Sales

Micrel Inc., announced that David Schwartz, a veteran sales professional in the semiconductor industry, is joining Micrel as the company’s Vice President of World Wide Sales. He will report directly to Ray Zinn, President and CEO, and have responsibility for the company’s global sales efforts.

Schwartz brings more than 30 years of valuable semiconductor sales experience to his role at Micrel. Most recently, he held the position of Worldwide Vice President of Sales for Advanced Analogic Technologies, Inc. Prior to this, he was Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing for Oxford Semiconductor. He has also held senior executive positions at both Renesas Technology Americas and Mitsubishi Semiconductor Americas. He began his career at Motorola Semiconductor where he developed a strong foundation in semiconductor sales.
