Lineage Power Corp. announced that Allen Rozman has been named the director of product management for its board mounted power (BMP) division, with global responsibilities for the conception, definition, execution and promotion of dc-dc solutions for OEM partners serving the communications, computing, storage, industrial, medical and military markets. Rozman will be based at the company’s Plano, Texas headquarters, reporting to Niklas Fallgren, Vice President and General Manager for the BMP business unit.

"We are proud to have Allen Rozman rejoin our team," said Fallgren, "With more than 30 patented industry innovations, his experience and proven track record of execution will help us drive next-generation product leadership and market share gains."

Prior to joining Lineage Power, Rozman held the position of Vice President of Engineering for ColdWatt Inc. (acquired by Flextronics), a startup company focused on the design and manufacture of high-efficiency, all-digital ac-dc front-end rectifiers for the redundant, rack mount server market. Rozman is recognized by the power industry as a technology leader, driving product innovation, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth in both publicly and privately-held companies.

"I am excited by the new opportunities at Lineage Power," Rozman said. "Our leadership in product size, performance and reliability will be extended through next-generation board mounted power solutions that accelerate time to market for our OEM customers, while reducing risk and lowering costs."

Prior to ColdWatt, Rozman held positions as a technical manager, lead electrical design engineer, and was appointed both Consulting and Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at AT&T, Bell Labs and Lucent Technologies, where he spent 12 years focused on creating and growing the isolated board mounted power product line. He has also worked as a consultant for various clients on intellectual property matters. Rozman holds 34 patents spanning power electronics circuits, systems and packaging, optical communications, and computer architecture.
