Fuel Cells 2000 and DoE launch US Fuel Cell Project Database

November 20, 2006 by Jeff Shepard

Fuel Cells 2000 and the US Department of Energy's (DoE) hydrogen programme have jointly launched a new database comprehensively detailing the various fuel cell and hydrogen projects and installations operating in the US. The database documents stationary installations, vehicle demonstrations and fuelling stations currently operating, as well as the various policies and initiatives that have been established to advance fuel cell and hydrogen technology development.

Commenting on the searchable database, which will be available online, Fuel Cells 2000 Program Director Jennifer Gangi said that both the public and the government would find it useful. "Combining the policy and incentive information in a free searchable database with stationary fuel cell installations, vehicle demonstrations, and hydrogen fuelling stations not only gives the public a portal to the growing fuel cell and hydrogen industry but also offers a valuable tool for state and local government officials looking to get involved.,"
